Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park Inaguration

Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) Cultural Park is the first megaproject of Indonesia’s culture and tourism. Built on 250 hectares of land in the south of the island of Bali, this giant statue in the form of Lord Wisnu is intended to become an icon of Indonesia's international culture and tourism.

The Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue was inaugurated on September 22nd, 2018 by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo and was also attended by Former President Megawati Soekarnoputri, Former Vice President Try Sutrisno, Bali Governor Wayan Koster, to sculptor I Nyoman Nuarta.
