MU Mortar Utama Committed to Create a Safe and Comfortable Work Environment in EHS Day 2016

Commemorating the Saint-Gobain Environment Health and Safety Day, PT Cipta Mortar Utama (MU-Mortar Utama) hosted the EHS Day 2016 in HO Sudirman, Plant Cibitung Plant, and Gresik. This event is held so that all parties related to the business of PT Cipta Mortar Utama is committed to creating a healthy and safe working environment. Located at Graha CIMB Niaga along Mortar Utama factory employees, the event opened with a video playback on the opening speech of the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Saint-Gobain, Pierre Andre de Chalendar followed with the speech of the Managing Director Jose Martos. The points presented in the EHS Day is:

• Comply with legislation and regulations and meets the other requirements related to LK3.
• Identify all hazards, aspects, and environmental impact in the workplace as well as manage risk effectively.
• Establish work programs as well as measurable performance parameters of LK3.
• Prevent accidents and occupational diseases.
• Prevent the occurrence of environment pollution.
• Increase knowledge and awareness of all employees in order to care about all aspects of LK3 in their respective areas.
• Take continuous improvement action in the management of LK3.

The event was attended by the Board of Directors and all employees of PT Cipta Mortar Utama. In addition to reading Environment points Health and Safety, PT Cipta Mortar Utama also choose ambassadors that EHS is divided into several areas, namely Cibitung, Gresik, and ambassadors of the EHS headquarters and also held video competition and drawing contest with the theme "Safety". With the EHS Day 2016, all stakeholders involved are expected to know, carry out and improve the LK3 in each environment.
