Saint-Gobain Weber Indonesia Partners with INSEAD to Provide Development Program for its Key Distributors
Partnering with INSEAD Singapore Campus, Weber Indonesia has created the “Distributor Development Program” (DDP). As part of the Weber Brand Commitment “Weber helps its customers to grow their business”, the Distributor Development Program is targeted the second generation of key distributors who are expected to take over their family business in the near future. MU-Weber Indonesia aims to keep educating its key loyal distributors by equipping them with the right knowledge and tools to grow their business in the age of digital disruption.
Through case studies and workshops, the intensive 5 days’ program covers the following topics:
• Strategy development
• Supply chain process
• Digital Technology Platforms and Ecosystem
• Business Model Innovation
The first session of the program has been held on 15-19 January 2018. On the last day, 25 participants were divided in 5 groups to present future business projects to keep supporting the growth of MU-Weber and its distributors in Indonesia. 2 projects were selected to move forward into further analysis and implementation phase.
